About us
Bonet was primarily established as a provider of Internet services and associated services. Later, we have started to provide the design and implementation of heterogeneous networks (optical, copper, wireless) as well as their management and maintenance. Our management network is the Bonet network alone, which consists of more than 1,500 endpoints, four major and about 150 local nodes. Two of our main hubs are located in major peering centers in the Slovak Republic (SIX and Sitel). Our network is heterogeneous, where the spine, so-called backbone, is our own optical network. The rest of access is mainly metallic network. For corporate customers distant from our optical or wired network, we are providing services through our own extensive wireless networks.
Due to the experience in building networks for our customers and of course especially ours, we have received a few opportunities to implement our own projects in Slovakia and create several interesting and unique projects for our business partners. We participated in the first IP contribution projects and television signal distribution in the Slovak Republic. We regularly consult, design and implement the streaming of MPEG2 and MPEG4 using state of the art devices from Tandberg, Grass Valley or Scientific Atlanta.
Following to the live broadcast and stream processing, which we provide among others also for a full-on TV or one of the largest telecommunications operators, we have expanded our team of experts in the field of broadcasting as well as the video and audio post-production. For completeness of providing services in our team are also experts in the design, realizationand administration of shear and animation workstations.
With years of experience we can provide comprehensive services in building surveillance networks and IT infrastructure as well as in broadcasting and television post-production.
